A botanical breed of Zuum that has bright green and yellow scales covered in a floral pattern, much like the Dino breed Aloha. It was majorly redesigned for its appearance in Monster Rancher 4, where its green scaled skin was outfitted with a row of spines down its back and a massive sunflower frill around its neck. Its face became much more lizard-like as well.

Like pure Zuums, the Aloha Saurian has well-balanced stats, with the exception of having increased Life in exchange for slightly reduced Power.

Etymology []

The word "Aloha" is derived from the Hawaiian language, and is part of the name to denote this monster's tropical nature. The second part of its name comes from the word sauros, which means "lizard" in Greek. Many dinosaurs have the prefix -saurus after their names for this reason.

Its Japanese name is Arohanorannā.
