A colorful breed of Jell that had its name changed three times, but retained its same design and appearance until Monster Rancher 3, where it became completely green and was renamed Kuloro (not to be confused with a breed of Momo named Kuloro or the breed of Mocchi named Koloro).
Its latest name is Ripper Slime, but the reason for the name is still a mystery since it bears no resemblance or relation to Ripper. Its head is much like the pistil of a flower.
Etymology[]
Kelp is a large type of seaweed that grows in underwater forests. This monster has the same consistency.
The prefix "chloro-" (also mistranslated kuloro) in the name Chloro Jell is short for chlorophyll, the green substance that allows plants to create food.
Its Japanese name is Ekosuraimu, or Ecoslime.
