An aquatic breed of Mocchi that has blue-green scales and gill slits on either side of its head. It doesn't have scales down its back like other Mocchi breeds, but instead has a shark-like dorsal fin. Its webbed feet help it to paddle well in the ocean.
Its name is shortened to Marine Moch in the Advance games because of the character limit on names. There is also an aqua variant of the Mocchi in Monster Farm Online that looks quite a bit like this monster.

Marine is a term used to refer to animals that spend most of their life in the ocean.
Its Japanese name is Marinmocchī.
